Don't Know How to Play Domino?

By Joey Woods

Dominoes is a very well known game not only in Puerto Rico, however in all Latin ethnic traditions and in the Caribbean Islands. It's a true activity and it is appreciated and played by guys and girls of any age.

In this particular site you will master how to play dominoes the manner in which I was educated to play it by my mother and father. The way Puerto Ricans play the game. I will have other post on how to play dominos with varying rules and ways to play dominoes.

You're going to need a dominoes set. The regular set is the double 6 dominoes set with twenty eight dominos. To play the game you'll have a minimum of 2 gamers and a maximum of 4 (four) players. Now we shall concentrate on a 4 player match. When there are 4 (four) game players, you play as companions. The gamer toward the front side of you is your companion. The players in your left and right of you are your competitor.

All dominoes are shuffled face down. Every individual player takes in 7 domino. Each and every single gamer keeps back their own dominos secret to their own selves. You would like to keep your domino secret. Do not let others see your dominoe, as well as your team mate.

In the first game of a match, the gamer who holds the double six starts off the game. That's only carried out on the first hand. The winning player of the first hand and each winner then can kick off the hand with any dominoes he or she want. It can also be a double or any other dominoes.

Once the first dominoe is played, the next game player to the opener's RIGHT throws a dominos. The following player can either draw or pass assuming they haven't got a matching dominoes. The game continues on counter-clockwise.

The domino layout always has two open ends. When playing a dominos, you must place it on one of the long end of the dominos. The domino won't ever play in the middle of the dominoes, only the long end. All dominoes played must be played to a free end and must match numbers. i.e. a 3 must be played to a 3, a 5 to a 5, and so on.

If a game player does not possess a matching number to play, they need to take a pass to the following game player. The dominoe game finishes whenever the last dominoes is played, or in case the match is locked (the game can no longer proceed).

Whenever the game finishes, you gather all unplayed dominoe. All remaining points are awarded to the winning players. If ever the game is locked, Both teams add their points. the team with the smallest amount of points wins the hand and adds the points from both teams for final score. You are able to play a 150, 250, or 500 point game. First team to accumilate the permitted points wins.
