Australia is one of the most popular nations in the world for travelers looking to engage in physical activity. The country is inundated with tourists year-round, as the beautiful weather and choices of things to do are appealing to travelers from all over the world. Australia is thought by many people to be one of the prime vacation locations in the world.

One of the major reasons that people enjoy vacationing in Australia is that they do not have to be passive. Since the weather is perpetually gorgeous, there is plenty of time for tourists to enjoy the outdoors. Playing sports is an extremely popular activity for those traveling within Australia. 1. Cricket is one sport that you must try if you are in Australia. Many people consider this to be the island nation's most popular activity. If you have never tried cricket before, it is similar to American baseball in that it involves a bat and a ball. Instead of the ball being pitched, though, it is rolled and the player with the bat must hit it in the direction of a ring. Although some people from other parts of the world do not understand the attraction to cricket, it is incredibly popular in Australia, so you shouldn't leave without attempting it. Cricket is often played or watched by Australian people on the weekend, so it shouldn't be challenging to find some people who can show you how to play this sport.

2. If you would prefer a more intense sport, rugby may be a great choice for you to try. Australians around the nation also enjoy this sport. This sport can be likened in some ways to American football, although the players don't wear pads of any type. If you opt to attempt rugby. don't be surprised if you have some minor injuries at the end of the game.

3. If you are traveling to Australia from America and want to play something with which you are familiar, you can simply enjoy some basketball on your excursion to Australia. Because of the weather, most Australians prefer to play basketball outdoors. Australia features a number of public basketball courts at sports complexes and parks.

4. Playing with a boomerang might be for you if you want to play a sport that has its origins in Australia. It does not appear difficult to play this sport, but it can be quite challenging if you have never done it before!

5. Because Australia is an island nation, water sports are also incredibly popular. Two of the most prevalent water-related activities in the country are surfing and scuba diving. You can take lessons to try either of these sports while you are spending time in Australia.
