It really makes no difference the size of the panel as long as it fits the wearer well. Since it is likely that when you are wearing inflatable life jacket you will be on the water for long periods, it is best to find those that offer the greatest comfort. This can best be accomplished by trying them on before buying.

Your PFD should be adjustable to whatever it is that you will be wearing. You have to be sure that when you wear yours you will be able to float on your back with your lets extended. This is a critical point if the time should occur when you are in the water for a long time.

When it is time for you to enjoy some fun on the water as you go kayaking, canoeing or skiing, it is critical that you put on your PFD first. It could save your life.
