One might think that Action Sports in Detroit only involve motor vehicles. This might sound right considering the history of the town. Everyone thinks of cars when they think of Detroit. However , it looks that just about everybody in Michigan wants to push the limit in any fashion that they can.
Skydiving in Detroit
Detroit Skydiving offers speeded up free fall programs for people that are ready to jump straight out of an aircraft. Tandem Sky-diving in Detroit
Most areas of the U. S. have a sky-diving academy, but Detroit residents must truly like getting pushed out of moving airplanes at high altitudes. After all , the region actually has 2 academies. Though Skydive Tecumseh is basically a bit outside of Detroit at the Al Meyers Airport, it waves adrenaline addicts from the Motor Town.
Skate Parks in Detroit
It could be considered a bit novel that one of the better skate parks in Detroit is in an area that has become famous in the previous couple of years. The 7 Mile Skate Park located at 7 Mile and Hayes in Detroit is decently sized and has a lot to offer. The organisation that runs it does not charge skate boarders to shred and it doesn't need pads to be worn. It does a good job of accommodating everyone too , since it offers both street and vertical features to potential skaters. Considering the size, it looks the designers have attempted to pack in as much action into the space as practical. Maybe 7 Mile Road will have one or two other things to be famous for in one or two years with this skate park gaining a name.
Urban Ninja Free Running
Parkour fans and those who need to learn how to take their life into their own feet and hands should look toward a group called the Urban Ninjas. The Urban Ninjas Metro Detroit Clan is an organisation of those who enjoy the game of free running. In reality they appear to be sponsored both by the Michigan Parkour Free Running Association and the American Parkour community. Open gymnasium opportunities are available for adults and children. Youth programs available for those "little ninjas" are given an altered program in order that they do not need to be faced with the same acute challenges as those who take the game seriously. For those who are ready, Urban Ninja offers lots of other programs at different ability levels as well.
