A Beginners Guide To Outdoor Paintball In WA

By Patty Goff

One of the best ways to have fun is by participating in a game of paintball with your friends. This will help you to bond, as well as spend some quality time together. So as to enjoy our first experience, you must be well prepared for the game. Here are some things which you should bring along to your first outdoor paintball in WA.

It is important to be properly dressed for the game. So that you are not too cold or too hot, it may be advisable to wear layers of clothes. You can then adjust your clothes depending on what you are comfortable with. Checking out the weather forecast a couple of days before will help you know the weather conditions you will be operating under. Layered dressing will also come in handy in helping you pad up, so that you do not feel the sting of the ball.

You will need to wear something on your head. This includes a baseball hat or headwear that is particularly meant to be worn during this game. Wearing a hat will help to protect your hair from getting paint. It will also minimize chances of getting your head hurt. A hat also helps to soak up sweat when you are playing. You can also decide to bring along a scarf so as not to get hit on your neck.

Wear a shirt that will not expose any part of your skin. The shirt should have long sleeves. A hoodie, which you can use to even cover your head may be a better idea. You can also wear a jacket for backup. Wearing just a t-shirt is not a good idea. There are also shirts that have been specifically tailored to be worn to such games. They are the best option to go for.

Keep your hands protected by wearing gloves. The ball can sting if it hits against your bare hands. Any cheap gloves which you can easily find will do. However, make sure that you find something that will give you the flexibility of holding your gun well. It should also not make the gun easily slip from your fingers.

The kind of pants you wear matter. Find something that will withstand harsh weather conditions and rough terrain. It should not fall apart when it comes into contact with thorns, rocks and other environmental elements. Dark pants are best as it will be easiest to wash the paint out of them.

Wear tough shoes that will not easily get damaged under intensive use. Boots, sports shoes or any other kind of closed shoes are recommended. This is because they are comfortable and will help to protect your feet. Avoid open shoes or sandals as they will probably get damaged.

Other things to carry include a change of clothes, which you will wear when going back home. You can also carry a sponge to clean your shoes. A towel or piece of cloth can be used to clean your equipment. Having some cash in hand will be useful as not all facilities accept credit cards when paying entrance fees. You can even tip your friend who offered to give everyone ride to the game.
