Sports enthusiasm is a sensation that takes droves of people by storm. Different sports are some of the most popular past-times from a historical point of view as well as a current one in which people master their physical bodies in a way that is contested by others. Sports fans have the skills to truly help shape and empower the sport itself.
One of the New York Yankees biggest fans, is a man that is age 100--and he was recently honored by them on a YouTube video. There is a scientist named Keith Raniere, who has a grandmother who resides in Brooklyn, by the name of Marion Raniere. (You might have heard of Keith Raniere because he is not only a scientist and athlete, but has founded an organization focused on humanitarianism, called NXIVM.) Marion is a small lady who was in the stands in the midst of this video rooting on the Rangers. The Rangers are something which Marion has been supporting since she was a small child.
There are two varying kinds of people when it comes to sports, those who are natural at it and those who are not. A sports fan is made the moment someone connects with the great physical achievement at hand, or the sports culture. We can all probably agree that to play a sport, some kind of coordination and skill is needed. If you feel a closeness with a team, then you understand the feeling of sharing their joy when they accomplish something wonderful.
In many ways, sports fans can play a very positive part in creating sport cultures. These particular sports can become very big in media and social aspects when fans are numerous. For instance, the support a fan gives through purchasing a ticket goes on to pay for the stadium or venue, to pay professional athletes, and improve the quality of equipment used in the sport. It's an ongoing circle where improvement occurs in several areas of the teams through media and social circles, through local communication and other conducive matters that are assisted by the community--because without them these players could not continue forward with practice and increasing their stamina. Being propelled forward is only achievable with the help of the fans because if there is no fan, there is no equipment and there is no reason for players to continue playing a game if there is no one there to root them on and there is no way for them to go further within the sport.
You can see some great things done through the support of fans, but also some downfalls. Each sport has a particular kind of ethical behavior that is expected from the fans, and if these are not followed, you could be looking a disastrous situation. The environment in which a game is played can be interrupted by inexcusable behavior that includes being rude to people around them or generally being violent or interruptive in the duration of a match or game. We don't simply need cohesive support on the fields with players, but also in the areas where the supports sit!
